Step Out to Fight Diabetes Eaton Apothecary and Mix 98.5 are proud to sponsor Step Out to Fight Diabetes, a walk to benefit the research for prevention of and care for people with diabetes, taking place on Saturday, October 13th at the Hatch Shell in Boston, MA. Joslin Teddy Bear Clinic Eaton Apothecary teamed up again this year with the Joslin Diabetes Center to support their Annual Teddy Bear Clinic. The goal of this clinic is to educate children, and their families, who are dealing with childhood diabetes. It is an opportunity for young children to learn about good hygiene, healthy habits, and diabetes basics. Plus, families can explore health care experiences and options in a comfortable setting. Eaton Apothecary is well known for its attention to medicines and support for diabetes patients.
ADA School Walk Program Eaton Apothecary is a proud sponsor of the American Diabetes Association's School Walk Program. The School walk holds walks in local schools to raise awareness of childhood diabetes and funds to prevent diabetes in children and assist those affected as well. There will be over 75 local school participating. This program empowers children to get involved in the health of their community and truly learn how to live healthy lifestyles through exercise.
ADA School Nurse Symposium Another program that
Eaton Apothecary sponsors in conjunction
with the ADA is the School Nurse Symposium.
This program reaches out to school nurses
throughout Massachusetts to provide them
with educational tools regarding childhood
diabetes.
Senior Expo 2007 Eaton Apothecary proudly sponsored the Senior Expo 2007, held at the YMCA in Newton, MA on May 17, 2007. Hundreds of seniors looking for more information on 'health, wealth, and aging' attended the event and were given goodie bags provided by Eaton Apothecary. In addition, Eaton Apothecary held an informative seminar on prescription drug conflicts. The Expo was a huge success for all involved. Eaton Apothecary consistently works with senior centers developing programs that are educational and supportive to seniors. If your senior center is planning an event, contact us!
Danvers Family Festival: Oldies Night What can be more fun than an Oldie's Night? Eaton Apothecary sponsored Oldies Night during the Danvers Family Festival on June 27, 2006. Eaton Apothecary had a booth with fun gifts for children and families to pick up throughout the night. |
